AI-2005: Cambridge, UK, December 12th - 14th 2005

Extended deadline for paper/poster submission: Friday July 1st.

Organised by BCS SGAI: The British Computer Society
Specialist Group on Artificial Intelligence (an ECCAI Member
Society)

Two streams of refereed technical and application papers and
posters. Proceedings will be published by Springer SBM, with
the best 12 papers reprinted as a special issue of the
international journal Knowledge Based Systems). Trophy and
cash prize for the best refereed paper in each stream. Invited
keynote lectures on 'Computational Intelligence for
Bioinformatics' and 'AI and Law'.

The conference also includes a day of workshops on robotics,
multi-agent systems and case-based reasoning (bookable
separately) and the fourth BCS Machine Intelligence competition
– £1,000 prize for the best live demonstration of a system that
shows 'progress towards Machine Intelligence'. Full information

Reduced registration fees for authors of accepted papers plus
members of SGAI and other ECCAI societies (including AISB)
and NCAF. Special rates for students.

Deadline for full paper/poster submission: Friday July 1st 2005
Notification of acceptance: July 31st 2005
Camera Ready Paper: Monday 5th September 2005
