CERCIA SkillsFest05: 3 free short-courses

Dear All,

CERCIA (Computer Science, University of Birmingham) has three courses scheduled for April 2005 as part of the CERCIA "Skills Fest". The courses being organised are:
    1. Practical Applications of Data Mining (4th and 5th April 2005)
    2. Practical Applications of Evolutionary Computation (6th and 7th April 2005)
    3. Latent Variable Models: A Gentle Introduction (8th April 2005)

Please find more details (including detailed course description and Regn forms) online here: http://www.cercia.ac.uk/services/courses/. The course charges include lunch and refreshments, course material as well as a CD with useful software (including Data Mining tools).

These courses are *free* for all full-time students. I would be grateful if you forward information about these courses to any of your colleagues or students who might be interested. Unemployed West Midlands residents (including students who have recently graduated) and SME employees also qualify for 100% scholarships.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me or CERCIA Administrator Delia Sexton (D.Sexton@cercia.ac.uk, 0121 414 2215) if you have any queries. An early registration is highly recommended to secure a place on the course.

Best Regards,
Vibhu
