CERCIA (Computer Science, University of Birmingham) has three courses scheduled for April 2005 as part of the CERCIA "Skills Fest". The courses being organised are: 1. Practical Applications of Data Mining (4th and 5th April 2005) 2. Practical Applications of Evolutionary Computation (6th and 7th April 2005) 3. Latent Variable Models: A Gentle Introduction (8th April 2005) Please find more details (including detailed course

refreshments, course material as well as a CD with useful software (including
Data Mining tools).
These courses are *free* for all full-time students. I would be grateful if you forward information about these courses to any of your colleagues or students who might be interested.
