--- Apologies for Cross-Posting ---

Dear Colleagues,

Please accept this brief e-mail as an invitation to participate in the
5th International Workshop on Memetic Algorithms (WOMA V)

WOMA V will be the fifth in a series of workshops dedicated exclusively
to Memetic
Algorithms.

It will take place in conjunction with PPSN 2004 in
Birmingham UK on Saturday 18 September 2004 between 9.00am - 12.30pm.

The WOMA series is a forum where the international community of
researchers
that work on aspects related to memetic evolutionary hybrid algorithms,
can engage in
fruitful discussions, learning, research and where they can contribute
to the advancement of this field.

We are happy to announce that this year a panel discussion will take
place, so pop-by the workshop
to hear the insights of a distinguished panel composed by:

D. Whitley (Univ. Of Colorado)
C. Coello-Coello (LANIA)
P. Ross (Napier Univ.)
C. Cotta (Malaga Univ.)
G. Raidl (Viena Univ.)
