Call for participation
----------------------
Participation is invited in the latest of this highly successful series of
workshops, to be held for the first time outside Britain. The programme
includes contributions from Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy,
and Spain, as well as from the European Space Agency, UK and The
Netherlands. See the PlanSIG 2002 website for the programme.

Registration costs EUR 80, and the workshop dinner - to be held in the chic
Kurhaus hotel on Scheveningen beach - costs EUR 55 per person. Generous
sponsorship is available from PLANET and SIKS for students, including travel

The workshop incorporates the PLANET-sponsored Gap-Bridging Seminar (GBS-2)
at which invited industrial speakers from the European Space Agency, the
Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory, Atos Origin (the global French-Dutch IT
services company), and Visopt (the leading supplier of Advanced Planning &
Scheduling software products) will talk about their work: techniques,
problems, customers and their needs, and what can and cannot be done in
real-world applications.
