Workshop on Evolutionary Algorithms for Dynamic Optimization Problems,
                          a workshop of
The 2001 Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO2001)
                          July 7, 2001
                  San Francisco, California, USA

Many real-world optimization problems are actually dynamic.  But
when the problem changes over the course of the optimization, the
purpose of the optimization algorithm changes from finding an optimal
solution to being able to continuously track the movement of the
optimum through time.

This workshop will focus on evolutionary algorithms dealing with
dynamic optimization problems.

It will be a timely opportunity for people interested in the subject
to meet fellow researchers with similar interests, present latest
work or learn about the current state of the art in this research area.

Extended abstracts (4 pages) may be submitted in PostScript or PDF format
to: gecco@aifb.uni-karlsruhe.de
